If you want to up it, get wooden versions of them. They are learning to walk at that age, so toys that focus on walking are a really big hit.
Aw happy birthday Little Miss Accountant! 8 seems like a great age. My own Little Miss Smart is turning 1 in about a week! I love her so so much, I never knew I could love someone like that until she was born (she is my first). This has been the longest and shortest year of my life and I'm so happy to celebrate her first year with her soon. Because I like spoiling my baby girl, how about a puzzle?
