These might do it then (they're the men's equivalent, I believe.)
I work on the ramp at the airport, so most of my job is hauling things around (luggage, heavy iron carts, and such.) They do great for dealing with the tiny clips on exterior panels on the aircraft, and our various tools, and also keeping my fingers protected while working with the bags. I do have to take them off for writing, but that's about it.
The thing that I've really appreciated with my gloves, is the fit. They're flexible but snug, I've worn a pair of those looser fitting "generic" leather gloves you find at every hardware store, and found them prone to getting caught under bags, My pinky nail is still pretty colors from getting caught under a 60lb bag and getting squished on the lip of the cargo bin.
Gloves with hard knuckles are made for fighting. In the SHTF you're gonna be doing 99% other stuff rather than fighting hand to hand, so get some gloves that are good at doing all the other stuff.
My fave are these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000BPUEN2?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image
This post actually reminded me I need a new pair, I had one pair for about four years using them a few times a week for all sorts of stuff. Ended up trashing them because I got into a nasty patch of poison ivy, otherwise I'd wager they would've lasted me another few years before wearing out. They're on sale right now too.
