Are you actually interested in running barefoot? If so what has you not enthused about Fivefingers? Is it the way they look?

I used to run in Fivefingers but recently switched to Merrell Pace Gloves. They allow your toes to move around more naturally than FiveFingers.

I recommend going to a running store and jogging around in a few pairs before making a decision on what you like.
