I find it pretty sturdy. I think my screen has a slight bend outwards on the middle, maybe from opening it, idk. I just bought a sleeve mostly to put it under the laptop on tablet mode, in class. My SB2 15" fits despite it being for MPB (with pen attached), and fits nicely into the laptop compartment of my backpack. I bought my old SB1 second hand, and the seller included the same sleeve in the 13.5" (in brown - better looking I'm). I loved it so much I bought it again!
The paper slot at the back is super handy, and I put my mousemat in there. Because I don't like putting the Book directly on tables (the state of some in our studio is awful), it works really well as a base to put under the laptop. Arrives slightly tight, but the leather stretches. The "suede" interior is nice.

Alternatively, my brother has this for his 13" MBP and loves it, and the case for his charger. I personally didn't like it because of the velcro.
