Honestly, I don't know specifically. I agree it looks like a hair wrap. On Amazon it's described as a turban. It was given as a gift (most likely because it looks cute and trendy), but I have hesitated dressing my baby in it as hair wraps or turbans are not apart of my cultural history and I don't want anyone to take offense. Because this post has shown it as controversial, my husband and I have decided our baby won't be wearing it in public.
