I'm sure there are tons of good ones you can use, but I got this Nivea for Men Replenishing Balm for my husband, and he's been really happy with it.
I read recently on the internet (so it must be true, right?) that you can sharpen your razor (like regular cartridge razors, not straight razors) on a piece of denim in between uses. This is supposed to help you keep the edge better in between changes, and allow you to use it a little longer before changing. We haven't tried it yet, though, because we didn't have a pair of jeans to junk, so we're going to have to find someone who does who will give us a piece.
You might need a better electric shaver. I use pre-shave stuff and shave before I shower, then throw on a little of this stuff after, then some of this at night keeps my face from drying out.
