Looks like a cheap knockoff of the Maxpedition Falcon II, which is 1050 denier, and almost the best backpack I've ever owned (obviously, the SwissGear Pegasus is a no-brainer in the BIFL category. I've had mine for about a decade now).
In this case you really do get what you pay for. Grab the Falcon II, you won't be disappointed.
Edit: it is worth noting that the Falcon II also doesn't have a true lifetime warranty. But if it's anything like the Pegasus, I'm really not worried.
I have had one of these for about 8 years. It has seen regular use, and has cosmetic wear, but otherwise its all good. Saw everyday use for years.
Edit: Here is mine
Ich nutze den hier.
Kostet 70€, ist aber unglaublich stabil und geräumig. Damit habe ich sogar mein Gaming-Notebook transportiert bekommen.
Going off to uni soon and needing a new backpack, seeing as I skate, and was wondering what you guys think of this. My campus is in the countryside so I'd like something that could take a bit of beating because I'm a fan of going out on walks through the woods, but also wanted something that I can use everyday and doesn't look too bad. Would happily go with something like a canvas bag though, just needs to be alright to carry a 15.6 inch laptop and lug books on a daily basis.
I've got a larger wegner backpack.
Something like this, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wenger-PEGASUS-MacBook-Backpack-Anti-scratch/dp/B000NOR7PY/ref=mp_s_a_1_4
But a slightly different model. It's tough enough to cope with a gi being squeezed in and has a separate pocket for the laptop and papers.
Not sure I could get a lunch box in as well. Maybe if it was a small one.
I've had the Pegasis for 5 years and battered the hell out of it. It still survives and keeps my kit safe.
