Ok, so i dont think children like me all that much because everytime im around them they all seem to have a meltdown.
My friends daughter Keira, almost 6, has a few...
Her mom was trying to load the dish washer and asked her to throw the food on the plate away, and she threw the whole plate away. (She was about 4 at the time)
Mom; "no silly, go dump the food and bring back the plate to me."
Keira; "no. you go dump the food and bring me the plake!"
Mom; "lol, who do you think you are? Go get the plate now. plate, not plake, and put it in the kitchen. now.
K; "no... I already did a thing."
Mom; "Seriously go get the plate. Right now Keira. (She waits)... The plate, now... Or you're gonna be in trouble."
K; "You're in trouble! Its your plake you get it!"
Mom (in serious mom voice); "Get the plate now or im gonna spank you and you will be sent to bed with no movie."
K; "You're a plate!!! I'll tell daddy on you! You cant tell me what to do you're not daddy!!"
I have no idea where she got that idea from, but man was her mom pissed!

When my cousin turned 2, My mom and i brought her some gifts. Unfortunatly every gift everyone got her came unassembled, no batteries etc. So while she was opening up our gifts and watching my inflate her hop on it ball thing i got her, i was trying to put batteries in her little rideable motorcycle toy when she came running up yelling at me that it was her toy not mine, and she smacked the screwdriver and lightly poked herself with it. So she went screaming and crying to my uncle saying i hurt her and was stealing all her toys. Of course my uncle was cool about it and knew better, his his friend saw the whole thing too. but my grandma yelled at me to be careful because i could have really hurt her with my carelessness. Like, c'mon you old witch, really?
My neighbors have a ton of kids. I yelled at a couple the other day for throwing an apple at my dogs face. The 8 year old boy started fake crying and threw himself on the ground face first in a hissy fit. Just muffled shrieking and fake sobbing... The parents came out and immediatly assumed the 10 year old shoved him over, so he ratted his brother out and told the truth and they just walked back inside and ignored it.
And my niece will be 3 in August. She has started telling every one "ssshh... honey" whenever shes watching something and people are talking, or when my nephew is asleep. If they dont dont stop talking she'll say it again , but longer while putting her finger on their lips like "ssssssssshhhhh hooooooneeeeeeey"
My nephew is a year old and just acts like a little jerk when his sister has a toy until she gives it to him. Then he'll do the same thing with the next toy she grabs until his dad brings him out of the room.
