English, do you speak it?

So I saw Telephone mentioned, but I'd like to suggest Telephone Pictionary instead, because I love it.

  • Get everyone enough paper that they have one sheet for every person in the group (5 people playing? 5 sheets of paper per person). I like to just cut computer paper in half, I find I never need bigger paper than that.
  • Number the sheets. This just helps with keeping track of things if they accidentally get messed up.
  • Everyone wrotes someone on the first page, it can be anything. Song lyrics, a phrase, a made up sentence, a single word. Anything.
  • Pass your stack of paper to the next person (you should be sitting in some sort of large circle).
  • Read the phrase/sentence/whatever that you received, then put that sheet to the back of the pile so no one else can see it.
  • Now draw your interpretation of the phrase/sentence/whatever.
  • When everyone is done, pass your stack of papers to the next person.
  • Look at the picture you received, then put it in the back of the pile so no one can see it.
  • Now write what you think the picture is trying to say.
  • Pass the stack to the next person, and repeat until you've received your original stack back and all the paper is used.
  • Now everyone should share the progress of your phrase/sentence/whatever and laugh! The more vague the original phrase/sentence/whatever, the weirdier your end result usually is.

Note: Unadviced to play in groups large than, maybe 10. Only because at that point it really takes a while. Also groups smaller than 4 don't get very intersting.

Also, I didn't mean for it to be so long. I just wanted to be specific in the instructions.

It's really simple, and SO fun. You don't need to draw well, in fact drawing badly can usually lead to weirdly end results. Plus all you need is paper and pencils.

If I win I would love to have this.
