I would LOVE THIS. I had to sell my DSI about a month ago to help me boyfriend pay a bill and it made me so sad, his sister is letting me barrow her old school DS while I wait to get a new one!(which honestly isn't gonna be anytime soon :() Thanks for the contest.
This game is my favourite and tthe only reason I have a ds in the first place!

Favorite video game... probably any of the pokemon games

Animal Crossing: Wild World: It's an amazing game and was one of my first games on a Nintendo DS. There's so much to do in the game and I would really recommend it. Also, the more recent Animal Crossing (New Leaf) is a huge improvement from Wild World. I would deeply recommend that aswell, but it's for 3DS.

Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands: Harvest Moon is a game that's similar to Animal Crossing but it's mostly about looking after your farm, growing crops, raising animals, etc. It's extremely fun and a huge time sink.

Pokemon Black 2: It's a Pokemon game, you can't really go wrong. It's like every other Pokemon game - Fun as heck! You can also buy Pokemon White 2 which is just about the same with little differences like the UI. A list of differences can be found HERE.

My list may not really be descriptive as they're my personal opinion on the games, but if you want to know more about the games, ask me :)

Having not played a Pokemon game since Leaf Green (jeez that makes me feel old) I would love Pokemon black version 2. You also mentioned tabletop games This one I wanted for my birthday last month but was out of stock so I wasn't able to get it.

Current prices from Amazon US and ebay US in USD. Summer 2016.

[Y Version](https://amzn.com/B00KI2OZ9M) and Omega Ruby are roughly the same price as when they launched at $39.99. If anything they're a few dollars cheaper due to slight age and price fluctuation.

But a game like Black Version 2 is about $60 new and $45 used. It is a last gen game and no longer in production.

And finally the worst example, and the game that many people want to play, is the English version of HeartGold and SoulSilver. Price fluctuates around $100 for new and used English games.

Japanese imported versions are much cheaper, $30 on Amazon. Sadly, only the current gen of Pokemon Games has language options. For the other 5 generations you need to buy the game in your language; or learn Japanese.
