The company has a "history of tea tree oil" on their web site that's pretty interesting. You could make your own I guess. I'm just lazy. The only reason I went with these is because I found them on Amazon and they shipped right to my front door. I even picked up a nice steel holder to put my toothpicks in. I like the taste of the tea tree oil. It helps freshen your breath and keeps your mind off smoking.

I've never used any personally but reviews seem alright.

Have hes tried any alternative ones such as the plastic from a SAK or a metal one?
