I've been using a S2S UL insulated regular size pad so far and it's been ok. I want to try a foam pad on my upcoming 3 night trip. I have some options. I've got a Z-Lite that hasn't been cut down. I also have one of these that's been cut to shoulder-to-knee length. It weighs 6 oz and seems as comfortable as the Z-Lite on a hardwood floor. It's also wider than the Z-Lite, so my arms actually fit on the pad: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JRWZWC8/ref=twister_B0124XMBZC?_encoding=UTF8&th=1&psc=1

I'm not expecting overnight lows below 55 deg F on this trip. The cheap pad rolls up and fits like a cylinder down in my ULA CDT and then I can pack everything, including my bear can, in the center of it. It gives it rigidity almost as good as the carbon fiber hoop in my Ohm 2.0. I'm leaning towards taking it and waiting to trim the Z-Lite. Z-Lite trimmed to this same length should be 8 oz.
Thoughts?
