I mostly mix whey isolate with water. Milk here and there, and sometimes with oatmeal (mix unflavored protein with flavored oatmeal or flavored protein with unflavored oatmeal).

I use a Promixx 2.0 to mix them... and it is awesome. I was very unsure about it. I was kinda like "oh, that would be good... but it seems so unnecessary... just use a damn shaker bottle". I guilt-ed myself out of buying it several times. Then I got a $25 gift card from somewhere, so I bought one. And I'm telling you that if I dropped it today and shattered it, i would go home and order another immediately.

well fuck... they're like $50 now. I got mine for $30. I'm glad because I never would have bought it for $50. That said... I stand by what I said. If dropped mine today or it was stolen or something, I'd buy another one. There are knockoffs for less.

I put protein, pre workout, etc. in stackable containers made for baby formula powder. They work great and even have a top piece that makes pouring them out easy.

If you have a bag that has a pouch or sleeve or whatever for a bottle, they fit perfectly in those.

I use a mixer cup to mix it all up. If I end up letting it sit for a few minutes after the first gulp, it's no big deal to mix it all together again. One benefit of this device is that there are absolutely no clumps.

Like you, I enjoy the Green Machine too!

You can use a shaker cup with a mixer ball in it but if it’s too thick it won’t do much, I travel a lot and I got one of these rechargeable mixer bottles that works great.

These things(PROMiXX 2.0 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010C4I5FU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_kEEeAb4NX11WF) are pretty cool.
It's basically a battery operated blender designed for powder. It will definitely blend eggs, too, but I wouldn't do anything crazier than that. I've used one of these for a couple years now and I never have clumps.
