I only need these cords. The ones I had broke and now I can't charge my phone or my controller unless someone lends me a cord now and then. It's so frustrating. I mean, it doesn't really add up to $5, just around 4 something. You should really gift someone else. :)

1200mAh - the h stands for hour, meaning it can deliver 1200mAh in one hour total. Obviously, the PS3 controller uses it over 30 hours, thereby using roughly 40mA per hour.

It is a trivial amount of power.

A typical wall USB charger can deliver 1000mA (1000mAh if used for an hour), which is many times more capable than the ~40mAh requirement.
