Hey, its no problem. Glad to hear you are excited about it. I've had mine since launch day here in the US and I've got to say I am still fascinated and delighted with it.

>£100 it seemed like a no brainer on such an expensive device.

Wow! 3 years, I only have 2. Mine cost $150. Sounds like you got the better deal.

I agree, it seemed a small price to pay for accidental coverage. It works out to $6.50 a month, which is the cost of a Guinness or two (depending on happy hour prices.)

As for the keyboard, I don't see what others are bitching about. I find it to be no better or worse than any other laptop keyboard I've ever used.

And if for some reason you need to type a 5000 page report for 8 hours straight, simply plug a nice mechanical keyboard into the USB slot... Or use a Bluetooth keyboard...

BTW, I have a Bluetooth mouse from MS I really like, and a nice neoprene case to carry it in. The Macbook case fits nicely.

And with your i7 and 8GB ram, you shouldn't have any trouble turning on HyperV and setting up some VM's if you want. Or you could use Virtual Box.

thats the case i bought, and its great. its like carrying your chromebook around in bubblewrap. the side pocket is also bigger than it seems, i carry a usb stick, the charger, an hdmi cable and they all fit fine.
