I bought these Sachs SG225002 Lift Support https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WO4JPQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_PrqUCb3A7ZQKP
They fit perfectly on my 07 EX, and add a bit of extra height (what I wanted so I can walk under it) but I have to be careful not to get hit in the face as it opens VERY strongly
