I have this sun hat in the "aqua" colour. The brim is really wide, so I'm totally covered. The brim keeps its shape; it's almost like there's wire in there, so it stays right were you put it. It's also totally crumple-proof. So you can roll it up, shove it in your bag, pull it out, and it gets its shape back - no kinks or wrinkles.
As for sunglasses, I just buy the cheap kind because I'm constantly losing or breaking mine, so I have no particular tips.
