I’ve had the same thing. Bearded guy here. I have a few recommendations.
I would suggest not using shaving cream at all. You don’t need it. The less you put on you skin, the less you’ll risk a reaction. I know this sounds funny but get a shower mirror and shave at the end of your shower. You’ll be all steamy and your face hairs will be more manageable. The razors I’ll link are for sensitive skin and have a little jelly insert to calm your skin down. You can put a sensitive skin face moisturizer on after you shave. Dont touch your face after that. If you have some fungus growing it likes it when you keep touching it w dirty hands. Clean your phone off and clean pillow cases a few times a week. Don’t do the beard oil or the after shave garbage, these have fragrance and essential oils that will inflame your skin. Remember in “home alone” when Macaulay Culkin screamed after he put aftershave our after he shaved? It’s like acid to freshly shaved skin.
I use the suuuper cheap razor they sell in a 10+ pack. The handle is green or orange I get them from Walmart or target. I’ll drop a link. They are super gentle. Don’t use a Mach with 3 or more blades these will also burn up your skin.
