A Lily by any other name
OMG she's adorable! Ok so I have tons of experience with puppies! (two of my own then foster). Here's some things that I try and remind people. First- remember puppies are like little kids- they are teething and their little mouths hurt and they like to chew on stuff. Just like kids do. So have lots of stuff for her to chew on (absolutely no toys that look like shoes or you are just teaching her to chew on shoes). If you don't have something for her to chew on, she'll find stuff that you don't want her to chew on most likely cords, shoes, etc. The second most helpful thing- if you are in potty training mode- Rubbing noses and what not doesn't help- the thing that helps is take her out often (when I'm potty training I do every hour or hour and a half). Then when she goes praise her LOTS. Seriously, it sounds easy- but this works I get puppies trained in under 2 weeks. If you catch her going well that says 2 things 1- you didn't take her out enough and 2- just say no loudly, pick her up and run outside. If you have anything else that you are struggling with just let me know and I'd be happy to offer any advice I may have!
