I have a Pro but it uses the exact same stand as the Slim and although it is an "interesting" design, it works very well and doesn't block airflow. It raises the console up just enough so that the airflow is actually better than if you stand it on its side without the stand. The Pro and Slim have been very highly engineered to work in both horizontal and vertical orientations so there is no worry.
