This is the best answer. Dealerships and detail shops use something like this or this. If you don't want to get a tool you can just use plain razor blade like this, they're dirt cheap at any home hardware store or most places that sell car parts/tools.
This will work much better, quicker, and with less mess than any of the other suggestions of expensive solvents or, for some inexplicable reason, lemon essential oil.
you could you any disposible razor like this:
One style
second style
trust me. Once you use one of these you'll go "ok why didnt I use this before, it's that easy"
You can literally buy them at any ace hardware, drug store, supermarket or pharmacy.
Lightest/cheapest: One edge, disposable safety razor blade, the type with the handle on one side of the blade which are wrapped in paper. $0.10 to $0.40, .1 oz/ 2 g. I keep one in my day pack/every day carry/survival packs. They're a little hard to find any more, so order on Amazon, Lowe's also has them. Home Depot only had the hundred pack when I looked. Works for everything but whittling. I mean these things . Add another .6 oz for a holder and you've got a .7 oz disposable ultralight knife.
I'm gonna second /u/Natural_Law on the Victornox Classic though to be realistic. The scissors, the tweezers, that eyelet, them curves....
Can you elaborate on the clay it part? I'm by no means an expert. When you say a razor blade you mean just a little guy like this?
