They're using Slack to communicate with the community. Some folks wanted Discord, others prefer Telegram, but Slack is far and away the most professional, IMO. It's great to have so many excellent options for support, but does come with its own complications.

Sorry I'm not a ton of help with your other questions... I'm pretty new to this experience and I'm fumbling around without an e-ink display. Once upon a time I added this RTC to my RPi3B+ for a Pi-hole, Unbound & Wireguard build, but the downside is that there's the additional requirement of a battery to keep the clock accurate. Perhaps something similar to this would be a better fit for you, but I'm just taking wild guesses at this point: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IP5MP72/

I've also struggled to get Bluetooth working from my Android device. Good luck, keep at it.
