The traditional strap kit works well, but after awhile if you put over ears on, you may bump the camera and you might nudge it enough to have a lovely action shot of the ground or up in the sky. At least with the hat clip it remains somewhat stable.

They actually all come with adhesive mounts that you could attach to a helmet.
For a handlebar mount you might want to grab a cheap one off amazon, they're like a fiver.
