Reddit mentions of The Blackcoat's Daughter [Blu-ray]

Came here to write that. Got it recommended here as well and was totally blown away. For me it’s one of those films you only get to see about every five years or so. Those that stick with you, haunt you, although it received mixed or negative reviews and you can’t understand how others can’t love it.

Been collecting and absorbing every tiny piece of information, interview, review, background and whatnot about it. The Blu-ray will be available on May 30, by the way, and feature a commentary by director Oz Perkins as well as a making-of about which I’m really excited.


I’d really like to talk about it with others who liked the film just as much. Unfortunately, I took too much time typing up an answer when it was last discussed on here last time and got no answers.
