I haven't seen enough hype for this.

The pilot, released a year ago, was great.

If you loved Gilmore Girls I highly recommend this, and even if you didn't unlike Bunheads (Amy's other show) it's not exactly the same feel.

A perfect Jewish housewife in 50's Manhattan has life fall apart and becomes a crude stand up comic.

the rest of the series will be available in 3 days.

Also Tony Shalhoub is in this

  • Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (srsly. Sondheim's gonna guest this season). Netflix/CW.
  • Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon) and Bunheads (Amy Sherman-Palladino, who did Gilmore Girls) [Hulu/Freeform].
  • She Loves Me (requires a BroadwayHD sub, though; long gone off PBS's app). Look, it's Supergirl's mom (Laura Benanti) and Chuck (Zachary Levi). :D Also, right about now, "Twelve Days to Christmas" would hit the damn spot so hard. If you don't know the show, it's the musical version of Shop Around the Corner.
  • Six by Sondheim (HBO).
  • Fraggle Rock (HBO). Because muppets will always make you feel better, and because each episode would always have at least one original song, if not two.
  • 9-1-1 (Fox). Well, it's been making me happy, but may be not stress-free :). The showrunners, Falchuk & Murphy, also did Glee and Pose.

Side note, as a Pushing Daisies fan, you may want to see Bryan Fuller's acceptance speech for his Outfest award on Youtube. All kindsa warm/fuzzy. :)
