the opening of the book contains an accurate description of the pervasive view that capitalism is the truth and socialism/communism is a failed fairy tail.

i think the author is a dj, so there are several pretty deep chapters about music genres and bands as a capitalist tool.

its completely (to me) unexpected and unusual point of view on topics from "geo-psycho-politics" to jerry seinfeld and sex in the city to punk rock and bob dylan made it a pleasure to read and easy to carry around in your pocket and read a couple of perspective altering lines.

it made me realize that deep down, i'm still the communist i was in college, i just don't like violence and don't trust people.
