I have a F750 + rear for front and back and two F50's for driver and passenger sides. To power everything over night I have a Cellink Battery B lipo pack in the trunk. I'll make a video about my setup tomorrow.
The camera has multiple modes including parking modes.
EDIT:
Here's the video walk-through of my setup: https://youtu.be/wjN6YoTwqV8
Front Camera - Thinkware F750 - http://amzn.to/2se1CJp
Rear Camera - Thinkware BCFH150 - http://amzn.to/2t4rNFu
Side Cameras - Thinkware F50 - http://amzn.to/2szX4wm
Hardwiring Kit - Thinkware TWA-SH - http://amzn.to/2txlLOB
Battery Bank - Cellink Battery B - https://www.blackboxmycar.com/products/cellink-battery-b
The Cameras have 5 Modes:
Continuous - Standard loop recording while driving.
Manual - Records a short clip after a button press.
Incident Driving - Triggered by accelerometer while driving.
Parking Surveillance - Motion detection while the engine is off.
Incident Parking - Triggered by accelerometer while engine is off.
When installed with the hardware kit, the cameras detect when the engine is running and automatically switches between driving and parking lot modes.
So price = Dashcam + hardwire kit + Micro SD card.
If you look at the packages you get:
Best buy: Thinkware F50 ($69.99 USD) + Hardwiring Cable ($29.99 USD) + Free MicroSD card (8GB) = $99.98 USD
> Thinkware F50 Dash Cam
> MicroSD card (8GB)
> SD card adapter
> 12V power cable <- It is unclear if this is a hardwire or cigarette power cable.
> Camera mount
> Extra 3M tape
> Wire clips (5 pcs)
> Quick user guide
> * Warranty card
I strongly suspected it is not the hardwire kit because they sell: THINKWARE - 10' Hardwiring Cable ($29.99 USD) separately.
Amazon: Thinkware F50 ($69.99 USD) + THINKWARE TWA-SH Hardwiring Cable ($23.25 USD) + Free 8 GB memory card = $93.24 USD
>
They also sell: THINKWARE TWA-SH Hardwiring Cable ($23.25 USD) seperately.
Blackboxmycar: Thinkware F50 ([$109.99]() USD) + Free Hardwire kit + Free Memory card 8 GB - $10 for discount code - $10 2nd discount code = $99.99 USD or $89.99 USD if both codes stack.
> * Thinkware F50 1-Channel Dash Camera
Also includes: FREE- BlackboxMyCar Hardwire Kit + Memory card 8 GB
Discount Code: blackboxmycarf50 to get $10 off from BlackboxMyCar.com
2nd discount code: Receive $10 off with "top5blackboxmycar" when shopping for a dash cam over $99.99 at BlackboxMyCar.com
from the two video descriptions:
I would pick BlackboxMyCar.com because the possibility I could get it at the lower price, plus the discount codes. Also I could pick 8, 16, 32, or 64 gb memory card. If I went with the others I am locked into 8 gb, which would just be my backup card, and I would purchase a 32 or 64 gb memory card Transcend High Endurance, or other MLC based cards. (Avoid Sandisk Ultra) not made for dash cams.

But all 3 vendors are similar price ranges when all is factored.

I also bought the hardwire harness so that I can utilize the parking mode features. Parking mode is what saved my ass on the hit and run

Edit: when I bought the cam it must have been on sale because I got it for $120.

I used a Fuse Vampire Tap so that I had flexible options for power. In addition I did not wire to a constant constant 12v system since I don't want to use the parking feature. If you want to use this, but two fuse taps. Mine came from Blain's, you can get them on Amazon.

Wow, you snagged a real deal at that price. For the hardwiring kit, the usually recommended one is the Vico Power Plus at $50, but I would get the Thinkware Hardwiring cable at $29.51 and although I am not familiar with it, it is the one suggested by Thinkware.

As for a memory card a 32GB microSD Class 10 should be just fine , that's the most common size being used. Do NOT use a SanDisk card unless it is especially made for dashcams called the High Endurance Memory card, but if you have a Samsung Evo that is just fine.
