    Features:
  • 4 pin LED extension cable for SMD 5050/3528/2835 RGB LED strip lights (with 4 pin or 4 copper contacts at every cutting line on the LED strip).
  • Multifunctional - Function1:Connect between RGB LED strip Controller and 5050/3528/2835 RGB LED strips, to extend your LED strips to the ideal location where you'd like to install; Function2:Connect between RGB LED strips, making it possible to install your multiple RGB LED strips in your preferred locations. Function3:If you are not using RGB, you can split the wires in sets of 2s and basically double the lengths. Function4: Use on some other electrical products.
  • Easy to use - The insulation was durable while being flexible and easy to remove with standard strippers. The strands inside is tin-plated pure copper and took standard rosin core solder with ease. It works great with LED connectors - 5050/3528/2835/5630. It can also be used for two conductor systems because the 4 individual wires are separable.
  • Sufficient material - The cable consists of 4 individual wires. The strands inside are thicker and more sufficient and durable than other cheaply-made wires on the market. Each of the 4 individual wires consists of 17 pcs of tin-plated pure copper threads inside, more than sufficient for the LEDs they'd be expending, ensuring perfect electric conductivity and longer operation life.
  • Flexible and durable - The colors are pretty. The insulation was durable and flexible. The wire inside is stranded so it can take a lot of flexing without breaking.

Four wires from the voltmeter to the battery. One on positive, one on negative, the other two on the other side of a metal shunt that runs from the negative lead. Pretty simple. I bought this wire from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015RLUAV0 The hardest part is finding a nice spot in the trailer to mount it and run the wire to the battery.

The best part about it aside from an accurate voltage reading is seeing how many amps you're using. It gives you the info you need to conserve power when you're boondocking.

I did it. I used some 0.1" headers and forced them in there and then soldered this wire (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015RLUAV0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to each end. There is a limit as to how long you can extend, but I'm not sure what it is. I did it about 5-6 ft. My end plan was to expose the solder pads and solder directly to the strip for a less janky solution. But I wanted to prove the concept first, yet leave the ability to return them in tact incase it didn't work.
