It comes in colors and neutral. There's a foam applicator in the top. It goes on like soft butter and you want to just apply enough to change the color of the leather and not lay an excess on top of the leather. That's very likely what the repair person used on the boots in this post. I can take a raggy chewed-up piece of leather and make it look just like new with this product. It's made out of carnauba wax and lanolin with a petroleum distillate base. It is not to be used on suede or certain other leather finishes, but for this type of leather it can't be beat.
