It seems that Sega is selling new vanquish copies on Amazon for $10. Amazon
It's quite the steal. I paid $50 for a used copy around a year ago. Best gameplay in a third person action game.
Now for an actual average game: I would just like to point out that Starhawk is floating around for $8 on Amazon I don't remember why it never panned out (I thought the beta was pretty decent), but it definitely fits into the category of bizarre games for dirt cheap.
