My wife likes these little Willow Tree figurine/decorations so I got her this one a few weeks before our first one. It's not too expensive, but has that sentimental thing going for it. She really loved it and still has it on her dresser.
There are a quite a few "baby themed" ones that you can go with too, I've bought her a few over the past couple of years in fact.
