Hmm it sorta depends on what type of costume you have (corset, leotard, etc) but usually the nude coloured sports bras and/or strapless bras work best in my opinion, it it kinda depends on the type of costume as well.
For my costume, I have a corset with nude straps, so I'm going to wear a strapless bra, similar to this. It works for me, although I do have a smaller chest. Hope this helps!

can't remember on Reddit somewhere, it's the yummy mummy brand by the Heather girl (holla) RHONY and it sounded legit so I got it and it works surprisingly pretty well. It looks like a bandeau but the band is thicker and sturdier and the cups have more support. You do slip it on over your head though so it doesnt have hooks which is slightly annoying, but it acts like a bandeau with support.
