I keep mine in one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/Allen-Knit-Muzzle-Loaders-Recurve/dp/B001F0INBM

but I'm not moving with it using mass transit. If I was, I might look to something more like this:

https://smile.amazon.com/October-Mountain-Products-Recurve-64-Inch/dp/B00TP7ZABS

I don't own one, but I've had good luck with OMP accessories.

This is the bag I use. Previously had a Plano hard case, I like the bag a ton more for transporting stuff due to the number of pockets & shoulder strap. Even comes with attachments to use the shoulder strap as a bow sling in the field.

What kind of accessories do you have? I got this one on sale from amazon for about 190 but I think the sale ended; https://www.amazon.com/SKB-iSeries-Recurve-Case-Black/dp/B003QYK24Q

I've seen this one:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QVLO0DA/

It ranges in price from $51 up to around $75, depending on stock, and it's prime. But it only fits 62" bows, nothing longer. Might purchase this after a while if I want to travel places without having my bow taking up too much space (drive a car with little cargo room).

I have not found a hardcase that is within my budget. So, I picked up a cheap softcase to use for a little while.

This is one I wanted, but I didn't want to spend that much on a case.

The one I have is a Fleetwood takedown recurve soft case. My only complaint is that there's not a space designated for bolts, so I keep them, wrapped in some scrap fabric, in the riser slot. It's got a pocket and a zipped compartment on the outside, and a zipped mesh compartment inside (which is where I keep my string).

I haven't been able to find an exact match for this case online, but it was in the $30-$40 range at an archery shop. (The closest match is this one on amazon, but it costs more and has very bad reviews.)
