(Part 3) Reddit mentions: The best baby girl apparel & accessories

I am OBSESSED with the Maxaloones from House on the Rock Clothing. I have a few pairs and, while they're a tad spendy, they'll last much longer than any other piece of clothing my son outgrows in 3-6 months.

Because the pants are so fun I usually pair them with a plain colored t-shirt. I love and highly recommend the Kavio brand on Amazon. These Ts are SO soft and so comfy (think your favorite old band t that's been washed a million times and fits just right). They fit my tall/slim son perfectly. And they're adorable with plain jeans.

Last year we got these crocs ones, which I can't recommend as a waterproof boot, but they were easy to get on and new-ish walker friendly.

Everyone loves baby bogs, and they are especially good for the smaller ones who still aren't super coordinated. We went with classic bogs this year, and we have a pair of See Kai Run waterproof boots/hightops that we bought for hiking this summer.

I agree with the others, the dress is cute and perfect for easter.

And shiny patent "party" shoes like this and this were my favorite as a little girl.

And if they make "click" sounds as she walks they'll likely be her favorite shoes and she'll want to wear them all the time.

The sleep and plays are great. If it is very cold, you can add a thin jacket depending on the size, this might work because it goes all the way down to 3-6 months. If your newborn is on the big side, this can work as a layer. It's a warm fleece, but not thick so it is safe in carseats.


Also blankets, blankets, blankets. If you have a local fabric store, see if they sell remnants. I got nearly 2 yards of fleece for $5 and keep it in the car with me all the time. This way I can keep LO warm, but I'm not worried if anything happens to it. Plus, I can use it as a playmat when it is warm.


The final step is the clamshell type cover for your carseat. This does not go under your seat at all so it is safe. I picked up one last winter and it worked wonders. Cannot recommend these enough.

Oh jeez, umm surprises are cool, but whatever you prefer. If you can this would be awesome because she had it when she was just born. And I think it would be sweet to get her 1 year pics in it. Thanks.

Any toy that's sorting, stacking, and able to carry and move from place to place (a basket and Easter eggs at the moment). Leapfrog makes a tea set that she loves (but you'll be singing the songs for days). Sidewalk chalk and the box it came in. 360 sippy cup. Sturdy Velcro shoes. Extra utensils and cute bibs to take to restaurants.

They fit much looser than those snug fit ones. They're soft. They hold up well. I love them and my little guy does too!

Not sure if you were asking about for yourself or baby. I haven't figured out myself as I'm due March 1 but so far have a super small belly that I'm hoping I can fit into my oversize coat. I'm not due until December but I really want my baby to come home in this - I love bumblebees and it's gender neutral so it works whether we have a girl or a boy (I'm hoping to convince my partner to not find out the sex until birth)

I LOVE this hat. Sits firmly on the head and the tie is awesome and secure. My kid can still yank it off if he's really determined, but that's pretty rare. I got him on board with hats by playing with a bunch of hats for us and Mr Potato Head in front of the mirror.

My daughter is really tiny too. Luckily I found some training pants that went well the way down to 6mo.
