It's really a matter of personal taste. I prefer Pfeil tools which can be bought online. i've always found their steel to be far superior, especially when it comes to retaining an edge. A bit more money, but for me......I only wanted to buy once.
That being said, FlexCut makes some nice tools as well

I think I may have carved a pumpkin once when I was a kid but I don't remember it. My wife is really big into the holidays so I surprised her with a pumpkin carving kit and two pumpkins for us each to carve. I chose to make mine Flyers!
Edit: I had a blast and we're thinking about getting two more. I want to try a Gritty Pumpkin!

Most likely it came out of a massive, old school garde manger kit. My culinary school teacher had one and that kit was the size of a briefcase. The amount of weird, small tools was staggering. Messermeister Avanta would be my bargin choice for a twice-a-year kind of deal if you want a matching fork. Probably run it on a steel before every bird or roast.
this Dalstrong set looks ridiculous but might be fun to mess with.
Otherwise a Fujiwara FKM Sujihiki might be a good choice (FKH for carbon)
