I'm assuming this storage is not for stuff you'll be looking for every day, so go with overhead storage, especially since space is really limited. Go to Costco for these: SafeRacks . If you would rather use Amazon: Fleximounts Overhead Storage. They are both very similar. Currently Amazon is cheaper, but I feel like the Costco ones are slightly better built, mainly the wire shelving. Depending on the drop-down you go with, they will even fit above your garage door when it's open.

Both of them go on sale fairly frequently. I've seen the Costco one down to $140.

Can you move all that shit on the right out so you can install some shelves there? Seems to be storage stuff that doesn't need to be in the garage.

Also, you have a whole wall right in front of your car, above your washer/drier. Throw shelves to fit your needs there. If you have a chop saw you could build a ton of shelving very cheaply as opposed to buying premade shelves (like that's on the left side).

You can also buy a hanging shelving system from costco or online at home depot or amazon. That current ceiling shelf looks highly unstable and not flat at all.
