Update:
Thank you all for your suggestions!! I bought a few of the ones mentioned here as well as some others. I went a little overboard, but I figure I can space out the gifts for later in the year, and some are for her little brother too.
(She's French born, so I made sure to include some American artists in there too.)
Thank you /u/mariposamariposa, and /u/moration!
Edit: For the commenters saying I should just give her princess stuff if that's what she likes - I have and will continue to. This year I spent over 100 hours making her an Elsa from Frozen dress for her birthday. This should be proof enough that I encourage and share her enthusiasm. http://imgur.com/a/ga9DQ
I helped someone learn about a diet and think about starting one! I felt great that I could tell them tips and tricks about it. :)
My goal is to lose over 120 lbs and then some. I've lost around 50 already!
Coloring book. You may ask why a coloring book has to do with this accomplishment well I will tell you. I can't exercise because I have a very low oxygen blood level and basically anything where I am sedentary is my entertainment. Aside from getting up to use the bathroom and grabbing a water from the fridge I barely move around. My body doesn't create enough oxygen for it's self so I try to stay calm and relaxed throughout the day. Coloring, and drawing help me stay entertained when it's not online activities.
Thank you. The little engine that could. BTW congrats on your promotion!
I was just googling to figure that out and edit the post lol. It's the Mini Masters Boxed Set, and I highly recommend it!
LO's daddy is a developer, so I'm pretty sure she needs this series: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0615487661/ref=mp_s_a_1_2
And this one since I'm an artist: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/081185518X/ref=mp_s_a_1_1
Also I just think the BabyLit books are adorable. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1423624777/ref=pd_aw_sim_b_7
(hopefully the links work, I'm on mobile.)
This sounds like a series of books by Anna Nilson.
The one you are looking for may be Art Fraud Detective, Art Auction Mystery or The Great Art Scandal.
It's in this book, if that helps narrow the search down.
"Find a traffic light and a pair of pinky rings in a quiet snack bar of a movie theater."
*EDIT: "Sweets" by Randall Deihl
The Grouchy Ladybug is our favorite over here. I also have this series of art books that I got at a consignment sale that they love looking at, although the stories themselves are a little forced
