Glad to help. It is a really good album. If you're interested there are also a lot of collections like this made for other countries, like Guitars of the Golden Triangle which collects Burmese folk and pop. There's also a Saigon Rock & Soul which is a collection of Vietnamese music and Pomegranates which collects Iranian music.
Also, if based on the songs you like I think you might enjoy the album Middle Eastern Rock by John Berberian and the Rock East Ensemble. Oud and the Fuzz is an especially awesome song.
Edit: Here's some more good ones: African Scream Contest and this collection of Middle Eastern Rock. There's also a really good "Flamenco Rock" album by Sabicas called "Rock Encounter". Here's the first track... give it some time to get good.

Why yes, I am a bot. I've been requested to comment in this subreddit.
Please let me know if I made a mistake!
Before you start, I'm aware Iron Butterfly is not heavy Metal. I stretched the definition for the sake of a better title. They're definitely an early influencers of heavier music though, so I figured I haven't ventured too far from the truth.
This is my latest haul, and I found three neat little records you really don't see every day:
Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-da-Vidda(1968): this album is Iron Butterfly's most successful album, and has their biggest hit, the title track (which is a monstrous 17 minutes long). This is a very cool psychadelic and early prog-rock album by one of the low-key stars of the late 60's prog scene. This seems to be an alternate cover, as the album cover I know is this. I don't know where is this cover from, so I would love if one of you could enlighten me!
Black Sabbath - Live at Last(recorded 1973, released 1980): technically a bootleg live album, which was released without the band's permission but still made the charts. It has some of the bands biggest hits from the two first albums. One cool detail about this album is that Ozzy Osbourne's name is spelled wrong (Ossie) on the back.
Samson - Head On(1980): early members of the 80's New Wave of British Heavy Metal, this band's biggest claim to fame is their frontman's Bruce Dickinson (credited on this album as Bruce Bruce) later stint as Iron Maiden's legendary frontman. I've been a big Maiden fan for years, and recently upon reading Bruce's autobiography, I checked Samson out as well. They are obviously more rough around the edges than Maiden, but still pretty good
Los Shakers are definitely worth checking out. One of my favorite Beat Groups. I don't think they ever truly mastered English, so the weird word salads of random phrases thrown together just adds to the charm.
The thing to bear in mind is that this shit was happening everywhere all at once. The fucking Beatles are just the ones that everybody knows and get credit for starting something that was already happening.
I can also recommend a compilation of Japanese beat and garage bands called "GS I Love You". Japan's beat scene was pretty epic.
The Outcast for example. (the fuzz on this track is killer...)
When Owsley Stanley was the sound guy for the Grateful Dead, He said he only used 2 mics per drum kit. Each drum set (2 sets all together) had an overhead mic right at the ear level and 1 mic down by the bass drum on the beater side next to the floor time.
This guy was a pioneer of live sound. He created the wall of sound and if you do not know what that is, check it out. It is pretty interesting.
these quotes below are taken form his liner notes:
"I only used two mics on each of the drum kits, a practice which didn't endear me to the drummers, but reduced leakage, and permitted a simpler mixing rig. One mic was over head, and the other one on the beater side of the bass drum on the side away from the snare. Later I was to learn that this technique was favored by movie soundman Harry McCune in Hollywood, although not in such a loud setting. I set the mics on the instruments and drums and distributed the results between the two channels by setting switches, rather than panpots, so only the vocals went to both sides. All the rest of the mics were either right channel or left channel. If stereo vocal mics had been available I would have used them, because I don't think mics in the "center" (1 into both) sounds right. I chose the placement by listening to the way the various mics and their leakage added up in my ears. I call this "constructive leakage".
This next quote is similar but has some more information:
"The two drum kits had only two mics each- one overhead and one on kick, on the beater side and near the floor toms. This helps the clarity, tonality and definition of the drums. A drum head vibrates in a complex manner, and the sound is not integrated until it reaches a distance of twice the diameter of the drum head, so the overhead mic should be near the drummer's head to hear what he hears. Kick is one which must be near-mic'ed, so the impulse is in time, I don't like the sound of a kick drum with a hole in the front head, or no head or with padding inside- most of these things will make the drum sound like a big spoon hitting wet cardboard. I put each of the two overheads separately in one channel along with the kick of the other drum kit- this gives a nice stereo sound/space and permits the individual drums to sound clearly without masking each other. Each of the other sources, such as guitars and bass were captured by mics set in places which produced a stereo image of two sources due to leakage. The organ it self had two mics, one on the top of the Leslie, the other on the bottom, each one into different channels. The only thing I was unable to provide iin separate sources in two channels was the vocals, which are centered, and cause a slight deterioration in the clarity of the stereo imaging."
Here is an example of his work: http://www.amazon.com/Grateful-Dead-Dicks-Picks-Volume/dp/B000FGJ1NG The first 2 nights are his recordings. I wish I could find something on youtube, but there is nothing I could find. He did record this in the early 70's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TfJe0u8V5g but no drums.
I am also going to include his notes on sound for further reading: http://thebear.org/notes.html#anchor484902
Every bit as great as the best known hit albums, there are many high quality compilations of raw and slightly older funk tracks... all displaying such energy and musical diversity it is amazing to listen to.
A few favorites (first links to Amazon, examples on youtube)
Cold Heat, Heavy Rarities 1968-1974 // A track on Youtube
New Orleans Funk // A track on Youtube
Florida Funk 1968-1975 // A track on Youtube
Carolina Funk: First In Funk // A track on Youtube
Texas Funk 1968-1975 // A track on Youtube
Even though my taste in music has changed considerably from back in the day, it's still probably a toss-up between The Crow and Spawn.
The Crow because I'd just got my first car and we'd all be driving to 18th birthday parties listening to this sequence of brooding-angry-brooding that just summed teenage life up perfectly ... Spawn because I thought the producers really tried to do the best job they could do. There are some fucking insanely huge names on this soundtrack. And Mansun. But still, they got such a superb mix of artists on this.

The Point - I feel like tons of people must know it and have seen it but no one I know has. It's about a little boy with a round head who lives in a world where everyone has a point. It's adorable and has super awesome messages in it. And it's narrated by Ringo Starr.
I haven't read that one, but this seems to be it.
I don't really know anything about Japanese music from that era, other than what I've heard on the pan-Asian edition of the Love, Peace and Poetry series. Kind of afraid to get started, since I haven't finished exploring krautrock but just finished reading 'The Man In The High Castle,' which has made me fascinated with postwar history. So much music, so little time and money!
El-P is always a favorite of mine, can't go wrong with Run the Jewels and Cancer 4 Cure is excellent, too. DJ Shadow's first album would also go well with your drug theme.
Outside the modern hip hop universe, I'd also recommend Funkadelic's Maggot Brain and Parliament's Mothership Connection.
Guys! Go to amazon.com
Please don't pirate.
EDIT: Looks like you've already been given a PM to the tracks. You were just looking for ways to get a free album because when I type it into Google, like this, google gives me the Amazon link to pay for his music.
Not sure if you are looking for an early pressing or trying to find this album only in the wild but amazon is selling a fantastic pressing of this album for less than $10.

Starts at $11.27 for NEW.
This is the entry I ordered from in 2014, and I got a 2000s Euro press that sounds pretty good. I cannot compare with an OP vintage press, however.
I have the 4mwb pressing - it's crap. Can you confirm this $11.56 import pressing from Westbound is an improvement? Thanks.
Welcome! I would recommend what are known as the Red and Blue albums, see here:

If you are looking for a compilation, then I would suggest the Blue LP 1967-1970. A great summary of the last 3 years of the band. That one and the accompanying Red LP 1962-1966, were the first two Beatle LPs I bought.
The Crow soundtrack was awesome.
I think this looks pretty awesome, they're are all classics:

If I was your girlfriend I'd give you lotsa sex.
Another few soundtracks that are fantastic:
Natural Born Killers
The Crow
Donny Darko
Not to be a jerk or disrespect your post but I bought 2 in December on Amazon used for less than $5 each used. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ol/B00018TI5E/ref=mw_dp_olp?ie=UTF8&condition=all hopefully more of you can experience this amazing album.
Buying vinyl online is totally legit, it is how I get 95% of my records.
I mostly buy from amazon and never had anything damaged or warped, they pack it quite well
http://www.amazon.com/Axis-Bold-As-Love-Vinyl/dp/B0033AGPF8
It's this one. I was surprised because the description doesn't say anything about the 7".
It's not availible on CD or digital just yet, but you can always just rip it from the vinyl if you want. expensive link here
The Crow
EDIT: Ah crap, I just realized this is supposed to be ORIGINAL soundtracks - but this is still a kickass set.

Opinions will likely vary wildly. But, if I could only listen to one Beatles album for the rest of my life, it would be this one.
Still in print from Westbound

There is an "import version" version (presumably not the 4MWB version) for $11.32. It has been temporarily out of stock, but now says 1-3 weeks. I ordered mine about a month ago when it was $9 and just got my shipping notice today.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004XOY1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_QPCozb5J69E45
I would add to that almost everything off "the crow" soundtrack.
Then throw some Lush, some Skinny Puppy, some Thrill Kill Kult, some Front 242, and some KMFDM in there, and youre done.
Edit: I forgot the mutherfucking Prodigy... "breathe", "firestarter", and "smack my bitch up" are all excellent driving songs.
