Love it. Buy a few color markers (test them on other bent cards) then paint that seam in a bit.

In that case I might actually recommend what some others have said: sharpies, or even Paint Pens that you can find for things like Gundam Model kits.

Painting the bases with how I was describing things would require you to prime the entire mini first. Sorry I didn't quite catch that part first.

These are the pens I mean: https://www.amazon.com/GSI-Creos-GMS114-Destiny-Markers/dp/B0009AFN6C/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_229_tr_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=QV34FHC1TDF4ME9GKZF1

Possibly from something like this.

So you write something with these coloured pens, then you run the 'magic' pen over what you've written and it changes colour.

I can recall scents & not all of them good. Whatever the janitors sprinkled on vomit had such a distinct scent that it’s hard to shake. Also, early 80s Teacher’s Lounge was a hideous combo of cigarettes, lousy coffee and tuna sandwiches. The good smells were those Mr. Sketch scented markers & a fresh box of crayons. Also, the smell of clay in art class.

close - I went with these for the color variety. Probably used every one too!

Would window writers work?

I realize you said she already had done the "kids" pumping version of the airbrush, but there are also a couple versions that are battery operated.

Crayola $19

Alex Toys $17

If you were serious about it not being a toy however, there are some cheap alternative systems that wouldn't be good for an adult trying to get serious but for a kid should be more than enough.

Master Airbrush $80
