First, if you have any space on the walls, use these Ikea Spice Racks to store less used items. They have to be assembled so you can paint them however you like! They look like this all hung up and pretty. It looks nice because the stuff is off of your countertops and neatly tucked away!

Next, find thee some acrylic makeup drawers. You can get them on ebay. Something like this
There are also acrylic lipstick holders.

For brushes, I really love this cup holder thing. You can close it up and it'll look really organized and not cluttered. I've seen people use pyrex beakers or mason jars with clear marbles and stick their brushes in in those as well.

Good luck and thanks for hosting!

I picked a few I thought you'd really enjoy!

This is a bright pink makeup organizer. I thought it really suited you!

Here are some pink makeup brushes to go into your organizer.

This is a pink nail art set that comes with tape and glitter! It looks really good quality :D

These are nail art flowers! They're super cute and PINK!

Finally, this is a super cute pink zebra phone case!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLIE!

I keep my toners and face mist in these little spray bottles but they're glass, so you may want to look for plastic if that's a concern for you. They spray a very fine mist if you put something super watery in them, and my thicker HL moist toner comes out as more of a stream. For oil cleanser and serums/essence these are great. For my thicker creams and moisturizers I use squeeze bottles that empty at the bottom so gravity helps it along. I got mine from the travel section at Target but they're similar to these Good luck packing and I hope you have a fun trip!

I think you're on the right track, but if the parents are strict an opaque organizer that fits in a drawer might be a better idea - for example, this one or this one. Out of sight, out of mind and all that. Plus, you can pass it off as "a bag". ;)

Also, a basic skincare routine is a good idea for everyone, but especially makeup users - at the very least, you need to take the makeup off at the end of the day. Encourage her to use some of her gift cards to get a makeup remover (micellar water is a cheap and effective option, Garnier for example has a well-liked one), a hydrating cream/lotion/essence and some sunscreen.

my nurse was fairly adamant about Lupron in the fridge. She told me it's technically ok at room temp for 28 days, but the potency goes down so they say just stick it in the fridge. I think I shared once before, but I got this: https://www.amazon.com/Neoprene-Insulated-Insulin-Medicine-Makeup/dp/B0089SFJLU/ref=sr_1_19_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1494356149&sr=8-19&keywords=icy%2Bcools&th=1

(and it kept it cool for 8+ hrs... it was nice to me because it is something I can reuse afterwards for small snacks or whatever. I didn't really like the insulin ones because they had pockets and such and I would not use that again)

On the way to my destination, I "claimed" the items and told the security person I had sharps and an ice pack for meds. they were like "yeah ok" I kept it in the original box because it was just one vial of Lupron. For Menopur- I would ditch the extra stuff and condense. They don't know what all is supposed to be included ya know? I kept pharmacy label on my lupron box in case they questioned it. I saw them take it off the belt and look inside them put my little kit back. No questions. On the way home, I didn't even mention I had meds and I didn't notice that they checked anything.

Ok to be honest I have no clue what the blocks are used for?? Please enlighten me. I think it's great that your daughter is involved too!

As for me, I'm geeking out over the relaunch of Caboodles! I saw them at Target a few weeks ago and finally added one to my list. This one looks sweet! I grew up with one and think it would be awesome to have one to store some makeup in.

u/Stylomax · 2 pointsr/lanparty

Do you need an expensive bag or suitcase? No, but I'm sure that it would make carrying it to the bus & from the bus to the venue a heck of a lot easier. At the minimum I would suggest getting a rolling cart like this to make transporting it all easier. The other option would be to get something like Gear Grips for the case and a monitor case from Pelican or Gator if you plan on doing this frequently.

Dude, no problems, keep the questions coming!

Those packing cubes do look great and yeah, they save you a ton of time and I thought I was a good packer but it's not the initial packing that you have to worry about - it's all subsequent packing jobs mid-trip. Packing cubes are excellent for minimizing stuff when you're in a rush. Instead of pulling everything out and then dumping it back in you just pull out the one bag with the item you need. I tend to organize mine kind of by clothing type (shirts in one, pants in one) but also I keep one that's "running shit" or any specific outfit I want to keep together.

I do actually have strong opinions about my toiletry bag because I always buy a clear one and keep my liquids in it. Like this because then you can just set it down and not have to take things out if you're using carry on only. Also, I bought these because I keep my toiletries on a lanyard so a) it's harder to forget them in hotel bathrooms, b) no more doing the bend and snap to get shampoo. But again, I only travel with carry on stuff so keeping things security-friendly is a big one for me. I keep the rest of my makeup (even some liquids, they don't ever seem to care...) in a cloth bag but I also go super minimal on this in general but especially when traveling. I brought like all the makeup I own to Vienna since my friend wanted to play with it before NYE and I regretted it so hard. Keep it simple.

I don't think there are "cheap" and good looking ones to buy...I have looked for the same. The smart looking airless pumps on Amazon aren't cheaper than Muji, but I am a fan of airless pump. I had some products that used airless pump from long time ago that I repurpose. They kind of look like this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0722K8LKJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_3ImUAbC7ZP27F

Except mine are silver. So best bet would be to find some nice products that have similar bottles, use it up and reuse the bottle so you don't feel like you're paying extra for plastic. I use these for liquid toner products and decanting that SCINIC honey jar.

For the creams I use contact lense cases and those tiny eye cream pots.

You can definitely have a very short routine in the morning and a longer routine at night. My current morning routine consists of a splash of water on my face, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen. It takes less than ten minutes most days and I brush my teeth between applying my moisturizer and sunscreen to give my moisturizer a chance to sink in.

Definitely check out the Beginner guide and the first haul that others have already mentioned. For travel, once you figure out what products you want, you might be able to find some travel kits like this or this. (I know the links are Amazon and I'm not sure if those specific items are available in Germany, but sometimes it just takes knowing what you're looking for in order to find it).

Good luck!

I just went through this! Was keeping my ever expanding collection in a bag, but when I added a stamping obsession I had to organize them! I got this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XYXNLH7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Ac59AbSAE2HKB) on Amazon and it works perfectly! Fits my nail polish bottles (the opi ones are a bit tight) and has a pocket on the top for my tools and stamping plates!
If you don't like this one it seemed like a lot of essential oil carriers would work for nail polish storage as well!

u/whatsabrooin · 30 pointsr/AsianBeauty

These travel kits are also great, especially for longer trips. All the sizes are TSA friendly and the spray bottles are great for FTEs/toners/mists.

u/Popcornery · 3 pointsr/vinyl

I got this for myself for Christmas a couple of years ago and I absolutely love it. It only fits about 30 albums, so I have to keep the rest on a shelf, but it’s awesome for transport and storage of the records that I use most. Here’s the amazon link if anyone wants it.

Oh wow, I'll have to give these a go. I've been using a few of the Nalgene Travel Bottle Kit bottles for olive oil, hot sauce, etc, and soda bottle pre-forms for batteries and some other stuff. But they're too big for most things like seasoning/spices, and not big enough for stuff like pancake mix.

u/dawndilioso · 4 pointsr/infertility

There are tons of options: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=insulated+medication+travel+bag+tsa+approved&crid=1UGZFKEHQTPF2&sprefix=insulated+medication+%2Caps%2C1133&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_4_21

I personally used this one: https://www.amazon.com/Icy-Cools-Neoprene-Insulated-Medicine/dp/B0089SFJLU/ref=sr_1_19?crid=1UGZFKEHQTPF2&keywords=insulated+medication+travel+bag+tsa+approved&qid=1571587093&sprefix=insulated+medication+%2Caps%2C1133&sr=8-19

It worked fine. I froze the insert until we left for the airport and was visiting family so I could refreeze it for the trip home. I had zero issues with TSA despite me alarmingly and repeatedly telling them directly I had medications and syringes the first time. They just waved it off and didn't even look or ask. I was flying TSA Precheck as well so they don't require you to take any liquids out anyway. I kept the original prescription labels with my name on them just in case there was any questions.

You can always get other little bags to organize them into categories/groups. I use cosmetic bags like [this] (http://www.amazon.com/Multifunction-Travel-Cosmetic-Organizer-Toiletry/dp/B00R4238F6/ref=sr_1_7_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1463551763&sr=8-7&keywords=makeup+bag) in my purse to organize a lot of small things in my bag.

For cables, like headphones, I actually use a very small hair clip or rubber band to keep all the wires from tangling up once I put them in the smaller bag after I roll them up. I've seen some people use twist ties matching the color of the cables to help keep them from getting tangled up in their bags.

When I was buying my little acrylic go carry-all for my perfumes, I checked out a few jewelry boxes. They had soft fabric padded sections that you could press your vial into. The only reason I did not go with them is because once you stick your vial into it you can't see what it is unless the name is on the top. And they all had lids, so no tall bottles.

Then there's this

This one isn't bad either.

This is similar, more compartments

And this can be stacked horizontally or vertically

Of course, if you need something the size of a China cabinet, none of these will do. I hope I never get to that place.

u/JLewis88 · 3 pointsr/KoreanBeauty

I use this bag I found on Amazon and I love it! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073J28FNP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

u/chrispoole · 2 pointsr/onebag

I use Nalgene travel bottles, moisturizer in second from right. Never dries out, never had a leak... they work great!

u/brp · 5 pointsr/travel

I got a bunch of these and am able to squeeze a whole bunch into a quart size plastic bag. They take up minimal space, don't have sharp edges that rip bags like travel size bottles, and are cheap as well. It's replaced almost all my travel bottles for liquid toiletries.

I also got some of these nalgene bottles and use the large one for mouthwash and small one for cologne.

u/aspiringagent · 6 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I always use these travel containers: Nalgene Travel Kit (small).

These containers are sturdy, leak-proof, BPA free and dishwasher washable! They come in various sizes with different colored caps, so it's a win-win!

u/blue_eyedsweetie · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

I think this is kind of cool . I'm always getting mascara below my bottom lashes.

I want these for practice !!!

These are another thing I think we could all use !!

u/pharyngula · 3 pointsr/onebag

I use the small screw-top nalgene tubs. Never a leak, even when it gets warm enough to be liquid.

I bought a cheap brush from Walmart that I just threw in my bag. Though they do sell brush guards!
