Aww, you're so nice! My fiancé hand cut all of them... He's a trooper. But they're relatively thin so you can cut a few together at a time! We just worked on them while watching movies so it went by pretty fast. Here are the ones we got: BestBlue Paper Lace Doilies 10.5 Inch Set of 180 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RBU3Y46/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_AAtKwbVX9QZ03
They're a bit more expensive then when I ordered them, but totally worth it. Also the cheapest price I've found. (I might've had some Amazon cashback bonus or promo money when I bought them,,not 100% sure).
What kind of tables will you use? Round or rectangle ones? I used a golden silk paper table runner for my 30th birthday party (my picture, product picture). I paid 1€ per roll, so very affordable. I had a buffet, too, and the runners held up very well all night long, and I as even able to reuse some of them. Amazon has them as table cloths that you could cut apart and use as place mats.
From my experience with events, paper doilies will look pretty bad after a very short time, so I do not recommend going that route.
The doilies were uber cheap. I believe these are it https://www.amazon.com/Paper-Doilies-100-Round-Gold/dp/B018HBAXLE/ref=pd_aw_lpo_201_tr_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=9816375HEMRB3RFHJWXG
I bought 8 lanterns but will hopefully only need six. It's kind of hard to say how big they will be right now. I am planning on using the tissue paper flowers here to make kind of vines (adding some greenery made on the cricut) and doing lines down the tables.
We are also doing long tables, so I had the idea of using those paper doilies and tea dying them different shades of off white/ light brown, and connecting them to make a table runner. I'm kind of of the fence about that.
Cricut is my baby! I borrowed one with the idea of making stuff for the wedding, and made almost all of my Christmas presents with it. I bought my own like, two weeks after I borrowed one. You can use it for so much! There is a Facebook group called "Cricut for Newbies and Pros" that has SO MANY ideas if you think its not a super useful thing. I'm planning on doing monogrammed shirts and water bottles with for my girls, and possibly engraving necklaces or bracelets for them using the cricut.
