Could be stretch marks. It's hard to see from this picture. If you've had them for while or if they don't dissapear in a week than it's most likely stretch marks.

It's easier to prevent stretch marks than to cure them. Stay hidrated and use a body milk/lotion or cosmetics product aimed at pregnant women to make your skin more flexible.

How to cure: I would use a products that other suggested or any sillicone based (!) product aimed at reducing visibility of stretch marks.

PLUS an incredibly efficient metod is Dermabrasion/Microdermabrasion. The best was to do this would be a visit to a dermatologist or aesthetician. OR you could do (a bit less efficient) method at home. One of the options is something like: https://www.amazon.com/Healthy-Care-Needles-Titanium-Microneedle/dp/B01JSVXHFG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1486578270&sr=8-3&keywords=derma+roller

It's basically a roller with small needles that you use on affected area and will make your body start producung colagen and help reverse visibility or remove strech marks. As an added bonus it will help with absorption of any other product/cream on the area used.

Highly recommended.

Source: am in the business.

Edit: just checked out the product I linked to. I would recommend longer needles than the one I linked has.

If you are interested in trying sheet masks, my friend and I enjoy these. Under $10 for 16.

They're nice and relaxing, have had no bad reactions to them. And you look glowy the next morning.

Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001GIOW36/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_vky4xbM5CQ9RN

Would you recommend that kit?

I managed to get the top off of this one, now it's refillable with any soap, not just their overpriced refill packages 😊

Thanks! And hmm, well with the lotions, I just tend to go thin to thinnest. For example, the La Mer mist is very watery, so that goes first. The SK II essence is watery as well so that goes second. The Hado Labo Gokujun is thicker, so I’d do that next and so on and so forth. I really don’t worry about interactions bc they mostly have a.) similar ingredients and b.) I don’t find my skin to be very reactive to products, I can use whatever I want basically without fear or breaking out! But it’s all about experimenting and trial and error.

Also, the Pyunkang Yul Essence toner was from amazon! It actually came in this adorable set with their moisture cream, serum and a sheet mask for like $50, you can get it here

The DDF brush heads fit on the Olay Cleansing System. If you're not happy with the Olay, but don't want to pay so much for the Clarisonic, it could be a good idea to try it out. Maybe higher quality brush heads will make a difference?

help me out here, you said the oatmeal thing won't work because it's a chemical exfoliant, then you said that only a chemical exfoliant will fade scars. Which one is it.

When I did an Amazon search for exfoliant, These two products came up

Willow Bark "scrub"

Lots of water and rest. Also, I've been using [this] (http://www.amazon.com/Acnefree-Hour-Acne-Clearing-System/dp/B00BEUAZTG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418167246&sr=8-1&keywords=acnefree)
for a few years. It works really well for me, and I recommend it. I've never experienced peeling or weird side effects from it either.

u/susistu9 · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I have this on my legs and the back of my arms. So unsightly. I feel your pain. The only stuff I've found to really work miracles is this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000M9UIE2/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1426436397&sr=8-2&pi=SL75&keywords=kp+duty+scrub
It's kinda pricy but one set lasts for a couple years for me because it's potent and you don't need a lot of it or every day. Hope this helps!

I bought a Ohui gift set with softener, toner, essence and night cream (and travel set) for about 120. It lasted for a year so costwise about 10 a month. (Amazon link below)

My amazon shopping cart is full of these kinds of things

u/windupkafka · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

The Mizon Recovery Gel broke me out too. But I just tried the Nature Republic Snail Solution 90 Booster and it's working well! It's been a month and no breakouts and it makes my skin so hydrated and plump :)

There's a trial kit on Amazon prime to test before purchasing. I've tried the booster and emulsion so far with no issues.

I used a little paddle/knife looking thing I got in a cheap set of face mask tools (like this)

This is the one i use. Idk why youd pay so much for one when all it is is a roller with needles.

btw link is for a .25mm. I have a 1.5mm same brand.

As a tip, the only benzoyl peroxide I can find that I like is the “moisturizer” in the AcneFree sensitive skin kit. I buy the kit for $20 and toss everything but the last step. I think Paula’s Choice makes a decent one but buy the 2.5% one. The clear series version is very harsh to start.

Here is my routine if it helps you. Please keep in mind that using an AHA and a BP might be really harsh on your skin. But after a lot of trial and error, this is my go-to routine.

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser

COSRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid

AcneFree 3 Step Acne Treatment Kit for Sensitive Skin - just use the 3rd step - Benzoyl Peroxide Lotion

CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion

u/wasting_money · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

My face (30s male) has always been oily and is breaking out with acne quite badly lately and I had just been throwing more and more acne stuff at it (AcneFree Benzoyl Peroxide, Neutrogena Rapid Clear salicylic acid pads, Differin (retinoid)) without ever doing any cleansing or moisturizing. This arms war escalation has been going on for years with the salicylic acid added in the last few months due to nothing improving.

I did some reading in the Wiki/FAQ here and I decided to essentially start from scratch and ordered RUGGED & DAPPER - Daily Facial Duo Cleanser and Moisturizer.

So, two questions:

  1. I see the starter routine has cleansing and moisturizing both morning and night. I go to the gym in the early afternoon and shower afterwards. Should I do the cleansing and moisturizing both morning and night and not do anything with my face in the shower?

  2. I'm a bit concerned about discontinuing all three acne things at once and starting moisturizing. I'm hopeful that my face isn't actually the oily type, just that I've always neglected to moisturize. Should I keep doing any of the three acne things? If so, which/when/how should I incorporate them into my planned routine?

Thanks for the help, I'll be starting out with the new stuff tonight as long as I don't get any advice otherwise.

I'm not entering my own contest but here's my routine:

  1. I wake up in the morning, wipe my face down with Simple Micellar Water Wipes or a cotton pad with either Rosehip Micellar Water or Tea Tree Micellar Water I found at Ross for stupid cheap.

  2. I tone my face with a cotton pad and Thayer's Alcohol Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel

  3. I apply a Salicylic Acid Spot Treatment (product varies)

  4. I apply a Hylauric Acid and Vitamin C Serum (I found mine at Ross for stupid cheap)

  5. I'm moisturizing right now with DermaE Brightening Day Cream that I also found at Ross for stupid cheap. Otherwise I use Cerave Moisturizing Cream or this stuff I saw at Ulta and bought.

Then I prime and apply makeup as normal.

At the end of the day I:

  6. Remove makeup with the Simple wipe linked in 1.

  7. Wash my face with Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser or DermaE Anti Wrinkle Cleanser that I got on clearance at Ulta.

Repeat 2-5 and go to bed.

Sometimes I do sheet masks and Indian Clay masks with ACV.

I wanna start going to the sauna at my gym once a week too for happy skin.
