I have one of the knock offs you can get on Amazon since I use a Warrior helm and the Bauers aren’t designed to fit so I didn’t want to shell out as much money.

It’s okay, and with some finagling it was able to fit, but honestly it was so heavy, the plastic on these is thicker than a regular visor, it weighed more than my cage.

Vision wise it was okay and only fogged up when I was on the bench. And this was during humid summer months.

Overall they’re okay, but for me they’re just way too heavy and I’d rather just wear a cage if I’m feeling like I need full face protection.

This is he specific one I got: https://www.amazon.com/GY-Thicken-Polycarbonate-Hockey-Resistance/dp/B01N6F8823/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1540483253&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=hockey+cage+shield+combo&dpPl=1&dpID=41%2Bo1QUNYGL&ref=plSrch

90% sure it’s just the Tron ones rebranded.

Seems like you have it mostly covered. I got the Concept 3 (I liked it a lot better than the Hybrid) and it came with a protective bag. But a shirt would work fine as long as it's thick enough and it'll actually stay on.

I bought THESE, and they do seem to help with fogging a bit, though the main advantage is less sweat dripping into my eyes.

Another concern is water, though your Hybrid will be a lot easier to drink with than my Concept. Problem I've seen is people with stubby water bottle tips (Like the standard Gatorade bottles) have a hard time drinking through the slots. Just make sure you have something with a straw (I have the 90 degree bend squeeze bottles) or you're prepared to drench yourself occasionally if you squirt it through the bars and miss. Otherwise you're unclipping your straps every time you want to drink.

Edit: This is what came with my Concept. Might be worth it if you don't want to mess around with a shirt, or risk having your helmet come out.

As far as I know finding one with a lower cage will be just about impossible. Even the fishbowl style ones all come in clear as far as I can see. I found [Tron's] (http://www.hockeytron.com/Tron-S40-Aviator-Hockey-Helmet-Visor-Smoke.html) tinted, I've heard that they are good for the price. [Oakley] (http://www.totalhockey.com/product/VR-903_Straight_Half_Shield/itm/2290-2/) is more expensive but I use a clear one and love it. [Ronin] (http://www.amazon.com/TM-Tinted-Vented-Cut-Anti-Scratch-Anti-Fog/dp/B00DAMYTAC) is another cheap option, not sure about the quality though. [Bauer] (http://www.hockeygiant.com/bau12hdosproclp.html) also has a few options to pick from.

This is the type of cage you want. It's called the cage/visor combo. This is better than a complete cage, because bean bag rounds will definitely get through. With the cage/visor combo, bean bag rounds could still go through, but only the bottom half of your face (mouth).

I use an aviator style visor. It gives the ol' eye sockets a few more inches of protection without having to worry about hot breath fog.
