Seriously though this should help. And these are supposed to be super amazing lamps. They are stylish and pretty. They will provide the room with some nice light and allow you to put the lamps where ever you want

I got a Taotronics desk lamp off Amazon and it's been working great. Also pretty affordable.
If you're short on desk space you could also try out the lamps that clip onto the top of your monitor.

I simply drilled the light to the boards and built them up one by one. For Kallax man.. I think you'd have a better result if you went for the pot lights. I can already see how nice it would look!

It looks like you've already received a few suggestions but just wanted to throw this one out there. I have one and like it a lot because the level of brightness is adjustable, and you can angle it or spread the light as needed.
It’s a Daylight Duo clamp light. My local art supply shop sells them. You can get them with base or clamp, one light or two. It’s very adjustable, bright, 6000K, 80 CRI. The lights have independent four-way touch sensors. The neck is highly adjustable, and the two lamp arms are hinged independently. I would recommend it with two caveats:
Independent four-way switches mean that you have to tap the lamps eight times to fully turn them both on. The switches are very sensitive, which is nice until you accidentally bump one and then need to tap it four more times.
The two lamp arms on mine aren’t quite parallel, and they don’t align quite right if you fold them together. One lamp faces me a bit too much so it takes a bit of fiddling to get both lamps facing the subject without getting in my way.
