What are the best loafers I can find for under $150? I like something that's based on a smoking slipper style, but with a not so pointy toe. Like this or this.

I would like something that will hold up under daily use, leather, comes in wide sizes or runs wide, and if possible a comfort brand (I'm arthritic). I'm a fan of clark's, but I'm not seeing anything similar to what I'm looking for. I've also been recommended Cobb Hill, which I'm making plans to try on.

It’s amazing that you happened to bring this up today.

How tempting are these boots ??

Pics look good enough for me...I wish I had some clue as to whether or not they’re total junk.

Oh, and ETA some more finds:

Here you go: Aerosoles Women's East Side Loafer, Black Leather, 12 M US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005BJBC5W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_sQYgAbB9WKY9W

I can't find it on the Aerosoles site anymore, so maybe they're out of stock, but I see them on Amazon and some other sites like Macy's.

A friend owns this pair, and she swears that they're super comfy (she has somewhat wide feet).

OH SHIT

mine too. I wear rounded toe flats -- pointy toe ones FFA swears by look so weird on me. I'm wearing [these] (http://www.colehaan.com/tali-wedge-weave-cap-toe-chestnut-chestnut-weave/D42227.html?dwvar_D42227_color=Chestnut-chestnut%20Weave&dwvar_D42227_width=B#cgid=womens_shoes_balletswedges&start=34) in a purple color right now -- they're super cute.

BCBG has some rounded toe flats that work really well too -- the trick is to show just a tad of toe cleavage. that seems to help a ton for some reason.

Rocket dog works well too, but they tend to cut the back of my heel.

I have a pair of [loafers] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FNNC336/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that are OK -- i think they look weird on my foot, but i get at least three compliments on them every time I wear them, so, ya know. I'm guessing they don't look weird.

Anyway. Rounded toe flats. They're your best bet

Following up on my "must be comfortable for person with foot issues/insoles" shoe post from yesterday, has anyone worn these styles? To sum up my other concerns, I'm traveling to Great Britain+Paris in the rainy season with trail and city walking and need them to pack well and dry well. I've read a ton of reviews but none are specific to people with actual foot issues like heal pain.

Reposting because this will be a better thread for it but; I own a pair of Clark Everlay shoes that I wear everyday for work. The toe cap has started to fade slightly in color and go grey.

How do I go about repairing them back to their black leather state? I know very minimally about shoe polish and would love some direction on threads/youtube tutorials walking through how to fix them as well as info on brands/where to get supplies to do so.

I also can't find what type of leather the shoes are, as the Clarks website includes a page about shoe care but I'm not sure what type of leather I've got on my hands.

Oh, wow ... I tend to avoid F21 footwear, but I may cave and buy these because they're exactly what I want in a loafer.

Edit: I've been looking for similar ones for the last few minutes—here are these Ted Baker ones, but they're a little shiny for my taste. Nine West makes some, but I really like the higher vamp on the F21 ones. I LOVE these Acne ones, but they're a little out of budget for me. These Jeffrey Campbell ones are the closest I've found and I might spring for them, but again, they're just a little too shiny.

I'm looking for a great pair of classic, low-heeled, closed-toe black leather mules that are comfortable for lots of walking. I tried the Rachel Comey Brie mules, but the rounded toe looked a little dowdy, and they made my feet look larger. Anyone have a pair they love?

If it helps, I wear a 5.5 or 6 (or an EU 36) and am looking to spend $300 or less—bonus points for $150 or less.

Dansko Celestes.

I have yet to find a shoe that I have no foot pain ever, but these are the best I have worn. I had sketchers that were lighter, but didn't have enough support. These danskos are not as rigid as most are. I actually took them hiking before I got my good hard sided hiking boots, because they have great tread.

note that I have several minor deformities of my feet and ankles so YMMV on this one. Eventually I'll let a surgeon play with em..

texture or pattern can make it different, like these

You can also keep the same casual, even moccasin-y look but make it slimmer and a little simpler so that it goes with more and is a bit more structured for versatility like these

I'm a low-top sneaker fan myself but a loafer, a ballet flat, or even an espadrille can be cool too. Of course a slip-on is classic.

Try: Modcloth, ASOS, H&M, Vans, Amazon, DSW, Topshop or of course Polyvore

I got these for my bridesmaids and they all LOVE them. They have been breaking them inand have gotten tons of compliments already and it isn't even the wedding day yet. Also, super cheap!

I am FINALLY choosing loafers to buy, but I can't tell which ones to get. Please help! I'm looking for something to go with medium- dark wash skinny jeans, short, informal dresses (chambray, light colored floral), and various shades of belts (tan to dark brown) that I wear with the dresses. I am also very short (5 ft 1) so anything that elongates me with a heel would be good.

I'm a guest at an evening outdoor wedding at a ranch later this month, weather will be down to high 40s. Wedding invite says no heels, yes flats, semi formal. I am wearing a light brown maxi dress, probably a navy blue wrap or sweater (I haven't decided on one yet,) and a pair of tights to put on when it gets cold. Simple Question: what shoes are acceptable that aren't too girly. Oxfords? Loafers? Any guidance is helpful. Thank you. Edit: I've gone with Frye Melissa tall boots in a light color. Thanks all!

Got these, and I’m in love with them. Super cute and I get the Gucci loafers look without breaking the bank
