Sorry to double reply, but I thought I'd let you know, after looking around I found out this sleeving is apparently just insulation for high temperature pipes and stuff. If you want, you can just pick up this stuff, which supposedly is the right material, and is sold by the foot for about six bucks. You even have a choice of color, between red or blue. That may be better than getting my half of an old sleeve.
