3M 4910 VHB tape or 4905, but 4910 is thicker and will likely work better.
I would buy some 3M VHB mounting tape. The stuff rated for exterior use. Use that to reapply the brackets. Make sure to prep the areas with rubbing alcohol for proper adhesion. Make sure to buy the width that fits your needs the best:
