Specs:
3M command-strips are kind of expensive though. They're essentially just cut-pieces of 3M VHB tapes. You can buy it in bulk by the roll. And you should do that since it's great to have around and I keep finding uses for it.

In servers I use it to hold 2.5" HDD/SSDs to the chassis.
Haven't had a problem with either of the A119 mounts here in Florida (replaced a windshield one time), although I do mount it on the tint strip to conceal the gray color of the mount. You can also try this 3M VHB that I'm using for other things on my windshield.
