You could turn one or two Mac Pros sideways on top of it, add another 10" or so. Standard desks in my house sit around 28-32" high, so it would do the trick.
Alternatively, you could build a frame above like this and have shelves or drawers or stuff like these old desks.
You could also take /u/ahandle's advice on a scissor jack, only attach it between the Mac Pro and the wood slab so that it served as a desk and a bench. Or you could just drive supports through, up, and out of the Mac Pros, that held the top of the desk at the proper desk height permanently.
That's actually a good idea now that I think about it. Get something like these and either go legs-Macs-desktop or Macs-legs-desktop. You'd have to punch holes in the Macs and make sure everything was sturdy, but there's tons of metal leg options on Amazon to make for some really interesting desk designs.
