I'd recommend checking out tackle bags (the kind usually used for fishing gear). They're designed to fit boxes of tackle, so square-shaped compartments are the norm. They're not all that expensive, and they're built to last.
Here's the bag I'm using. It's PERFECT for me. It holds 4 vertically-aligned fat-pack-sized boxes in the main compartment with room for 2 more sitting on top of them and still has enough room in there for a trade binder. The front compartment perfectly holds 2 rolled playmats, and the 2 side pockets can hold more deck boxes if they're small enough (or just your keys or w/e). Oh, it also has a waterproof bottom in case it's wet outside.
It's held up well for me for the least 2 years; worth every penny I spent on it.
